In Order to apply for A2P you will need to create a Customer Profile prior to getting to the A2P step. This also needs approval and is usually approved or denied within minutes.
Click on "Upgrade" on the lower right side on the account dashboard page.You should automatically be brought here after creating Your Twilio Account. (If for any reason you close out your tab or browser pryer to starting this step you'll also be able to click the "Upgrade" button on the upper left of the dashboard page.)
Next you'll want to click on "Create Primary Customer Profile"
Enter your First and Last name as it appears on your government - Issued ID. (drivers license, ID)
Select Business use: For my company or organization to use Twilio's services
Once you select "Business use" an additional section will populate onto the page. Select "Direct Customer: A company that communicates on behalf of our own products and services.
Enter your Business information as shown below
7) Select the country your business is registered in
8) Enter your business address. (If you are unsure of the address you used to register your LLC please go to opencorporates.com and search your business name for the address.
Your business information should auto populate into the fields listed below. Do not use a P.O Box as that is not accepted.
🥳 Congratulations you have completed your customer profile. Click "continue to billing details."
Confirming your main address for billing
Verify the address that's listed is correct, if any changes need to be made please do so now. Once completed click on "NEXT"
Use the validated address
Add a starting balance and a recharge amount
Select an amount that you would like to add to your balance.(You must select one). Once you have made a selection scroll down to select a recharge amount, this re charge will occur when your balance falls below $10 in Twilio.
Enter your payment information.
If your billing info is different than the address listed on file for you business, uncheck the box for "yes, my billing address is the same. A drop down will open up giving up the ability to enter billing address.
