I guide you through the process step by step, from selecting the phone numbers to ensuring they have the necessary capabilities for voice, SMS, and MMS. Pay close attention to the screen as I show you where to click and what to look for.

How to Purchase Numbers in Twilio

  1. Accessing Phone Numbers

    • Click on "phone numbers" on the left hand side of the screen.

    • Select "buy a number" from the dropdown menu.

  2. Choosing a Number

    • Enter the desired area code.

    • Ensure the number has voice, SMS, and MMS capabilities.

  3. Searching and Buying

    • Click on "search" to see available numbers.

    • Click on "buy" for the chosen number.

    • Confirm the purchase by clicking on "buy" again.

  4. Completion

    • This process allows you to purchase numbers within Twilio for your daily operations within OfferBolt.

  5. Recommended Number Allocation

    • For Ben, Jen, or Sarah workflows, get a minimum of three numbers for each.

    • Have nine numbers in total for Ben, Jen, and Sarah (1 number per user) to ensure seamless workflow transitions.

    • Distribute numbers for different time frames (9-12, 12-4, 4-8) to prevent burnout and improve performance. (at least 3 numbers per timeframe)
