In this video, I explain how to set up a recurring task reminder workflow by manually adding a contact. This workflow allows you to populate tasks repetitively based on your preferred schedule. No tags or triggers are needed, just a contact as a placeholder. I guide you through setting reminders, task details, user assignments, and duplicating workflows for different tasks.

Objective is to set up a workflow that generates recurring task reminders based on specified settings for efficient task management.

  1. Introduction to the Workflow

    • Located in the utility workflow folder.

    • Initiated by manually adding a contact.

    • No triggers or tags needed.

  2. Setting Up the Workflow

    • Add a contact as a placeholder.

    • Contact can be your own information or task name.

    • Contact populates tasks repetitively based on settings adjustments.

  3. Configuring Task Reminders

    • Use the "Wait" feature to control reminder frequency.

    • Select specific days for reminders (e.g., every 7 days on Mondays).

    • Add task details: title, description, due date, assign to user.

  4. Creating Recurring Tasks

    • Task is populated after the contact goes through the "Wait" event.

    • Task cycles through the workflow and waits for the set time before repeating.

  5. Duplicating the Workflow

    • Easily duplicate the workflow for different tasks.

    • Click on three dots, duplicate, name it, and create a new workflow.

    • Adjust settings for different types of reminders or tasks.

  6. Conclusion

    • Duplicate the workflow for various reminders or tasks.

    • Customize settings to fit your specific needs for recurring task reminders.
