In this video, I explain why notifications for dripping past the set time frame occur in our workflow system. I dive into the reasons behind this issue, such as high daily drip settings, and provide solutions on how to adjust drips to prevent notifications. Users are instructed on how to fix the problem by adjusting drip settings either per day or per minute, ensuring messages are sent out efficiently.

The objective of this video is to show user how to address and resolve notifications for contacts dripping past the designated time frame in a workflow.

Optimizing Workflow Notifications for Dripping Past Time

  1. Understanding the Issue

    • Notifications for dripping past the time frame indicate that messages are being sent out before or after the designated time in a workflow.

  2. Reasons for Dripping Past Time

    • High drip settings, such as exceeding having a high daily drip rate vs a very low mind drip.

    • This can lead to contacts still being in the workflow after the set time if the min drip cannot process those contact within the time frame of the workflow.

  3. Fixing the Issue

    • Adjust the drip settings:

      • Decrease the number of drips per day to align with the time frame.

      • Or increase the number of drips per minute to handle the amount of daily drips within the timeframe.

  4. Implementation

    • Update drip settings in the workflow to ensure messages are sent within the set time frame. To learn how to update your drips click here

    • Create a new drip if needed to move contacts from the current event to avoid notifications for dripping past time.

  5. Final Steps

    • Monitor the workflow to ensure all contacts are moved to the new drip before deleting the old one.

    • Remember that changes to drip settings only affect new contacts, so creating a new event is preferable for adjustments.
